Polish AKM Gas Tube Cover

We make custom gas tube covers for AKM rifles and this pattern is based on Polish AKMs.

These are made from glass fiber reinforced temperature resistant urethane plastic.   Nothing can withstand red hot metal from prolonged firing but I will tell you an East German handguard melted like butter at 437F and our’s was just discolored and soft.  Under normal use, it is going to hold up better than the original wood.

The covers are colored black and have our blasted matte finish.

This cover will require fitting to go on your weapon.  I use a file to make adjustments on mine – just go slow and remove a tad, try, remove a tad and try, etc.
