At Ronin’s Grips, our High Reliability Oil product line is engineered by a cross-functional team of firearm engineers and tribology specialists to replace obsolete, crude-derived gun oils with ultra-pure (99.5%) Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) synthetic technology. Our flagship liquid lubricant, the original High Reliability Oil (HRO), is a 10W-30 equivalent synthetic formulated with heat-activated Zinc Dialkyldithiophosphate (ZDDP) anti-wear chemistry and active carbon dispersants designed for high-heat direct-impingement carbines and centerfire rifles down to 40°F (4.4°C), or 0°F (-18°C) when applied as a thin wiped film. For semi-automatic handguns, .22 LR rimfires, gas and inertia-driven shotguns, and pistol-caliber carbines (PCCs) requiring ultra-low fluid drag, HRO Pistol, Rimfire, Shotgun and Cold Weather (HRO PRSC) delivers a 0W-16 equivalent profile optimized for an operating window of -22°F to 86°F (-30°C to 30°C) with a cold floor down to -31°F (-35°C).

For heavy mechanical shock and high sliding friction, High Reliability Combat Grease (HRCG) utilizes a Calcium Sulfonate Complex synthetic matrix delivering extraordinary extreme-pressure protection (Four-Ball EP Weld Load of 1,367 lbf [620 kgf]) and salt-water rust defense across an operating range of -15°F to 400°F (-26°C to 204°C). Complementing HRCG, High Reliability Lubrication Armor (HRLA) is a precision 50/50 semi-fluid action armor (NLGI 00 consistency) engineered specifically for bolt carrier cam pins, competition 2011/1911 slide rails, PCC bolt carriers, and receiver tracks across an ideal working window of 20°F to 250°F (-7°C to 121°C) up to a 350°F (177°C) upper limit. Every formula in the HRO family is 100% PTFE (Teflon)-free, low-smoke, non-toxic, and safe for modern PA66-GF30 polymer frames and Viton seals; however, because operating temperatures exceed 1,000°F (538°C), liquid oils and greases must never be applied to suppressors or suppressor mount threads:
